Internship: Noulin-Merat Studio- THE RING- Seeking Scenic Design and Props Interns
Noulin-Merat Studio is collaborating with Variety 57 on a new immersive experience in Midtown.  

Noulin-Mérat Studio is an intrepid production design firm that specializes in Theater, Film & TV, with an emphasis in Opera and Immersive site specific events located in NYC, Boston and Vegas. Variety 57 is a joint venture between the producers of Sleep No More, Queen of the Night and The Box NYC to create an immersive party restaurant near Columbus Circle in New York City.  

Interns will assist the art department on a part-time basis. This hands-on internship allows students to gain valuable experience in the field of professional set design and/or props design, as well as exposure to the specific requirements of site-specific immersive shows.
The hours of this internship are Monday through Friday, 10- 6pm, beginning immediately. The internship requires a 3 day a  week minimum commitment and is paid.

Design Studio Internship
This is a unique position in a small busy design firm located in Columbus Circle.

Duties include (but are not limited to) :
Work closely with the assistant designer
Help maintaining files and records for all shows and projects
Help supplying and sourcing research for shows and projects
Help sample and research build materials
Write script  and scene breakdowns
Help assist on set as needed (dressing and or painting)
Help feed our social media outlets

Microsoft Word
Microsoft Excel
Vectorworks proficiency a plus
Excellent People Skills
Excellent Organizational skills
Professional Phone Manner
Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
A valid drivers license and good working knowledge of all shop tools is preferred.

Academic credit:
If your school would like to translate your internship experience into academic units, we are happy to work with your school advisor. Please provide any 
paperwork with your application.
